As life returns to normality in Mumbai the Governments of major tourist generating markets for India have scaled down the travel advisory issued to their citizens in wake of terror attacks in Mumbai. The Netherlands Foreign Ministry has removed their advice against all non –essential travel by Dutch Citizens to or via Mumbai w.e.f from 2nd December 2008.

Similarly the United Kingdom has also revised its advisory to the British citizens which now says, “ We no longer advise against all but essential travel to Mumbai”

The United States State Department has also scaled down its advisory and kept it as a Travel Alert.
