Standard Trekking Plan

Most scenic, enjoyable, easy to approach and a chance to see Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Day 1: Travel by train From Delhi to Jalandhar and then by Jeep/Car to Macleod Ganj. Night camp at Eagles Crest.

Day 2: Trek to Triund- a easy trail among pine forest of Dhauladhar range. Triund is famous for it's caves which are used by people who meditate there.

Day 3: Rest Day

Day 4: Trek to Laka Glacier, A high altitude pasteur.( This is optional-only if one wishes to go to higher elevations.)

Day 5:Back to Macleod Ganj and visiting H.H.H. Dalai Lama's monastery -evening bus for Delhi/Chandigarh.

Importance: Easy and scenic, one of the most enjoyable and cheap option.
